The world’s oldest system of medicine – Ayurveda is divided into 8 branches. Of these the first is Kayachikitsa, which is the equivalent of internal medicine in the contemporary western system.
This department, one of the first PG department of Pankajakasthuri Ayurveda Medical College & PG Centre apart from imparting theoretical knowledge and clinical skills to both UG and PG student is also keen to conduct CME’s, interactive discussions on relevant health issues and organising National Seminars. Many awareness and camps especially on life style disorders which are conducted through the department helping serving the community and alsog gives clinical exposure to the students.
