Anti-Ragging Committee

Ragging in educational institutions is a matter of serious concern. Our institution is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for all students. The Anti-Ragging Committee has been established to prevent any form of ragging and to take stringent action against those who indulge in such activities.

  • To eliminate ragging in all forms within the institution.
  • To ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for all students.
  • To provide support and assistance to victims of ragging.
  • To take disciplinary action against individuals involved in ragging.

Anti Ragging Squad

Anti ragging squad is reconstituted to provide a confidential mechanism for inspecting and reporting ragging incidents in hostels and college premises if any and ensure prompt investigation.The squad shall report to Antiragging Committee for further action.

Reporting Procedure
  1. Submit a Complaint: Students can submit a complaint in person, via email, or through an online form.
  2. Confidentiality: The committee ensures that all complaints are handled confidentially.
  3. Investigation: The committee will conduct a thorough investigation of the complaint.
  4. Action: Based on the findings, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against the offenders.
  5. Support: Victims will be provided with the necessary support and counseling services.
Anti-Ragging Policy

Our institution has a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. Any student found guilty of ragging will face strict disciplinary action, which may include:

  • Suspension from the institution.
  • Expulsion from the institution.
  • Debarring from appearing in any test/examination or other evaluation process.
  • Withholding results.
  • Filing of a complaint with the local police authorities.
Awareness Programs

The Anti-Ragging Committee conducts regular awareness programs to educate students about the ill-effects of ragging and the importance of maintaining a harmonious environment. These programs include:

  • Workshops and seminars.
  • Interactive sessions with senior students and alumni.
  • Distribution of informative materials such as brochures and posters.
