The Pankajakasthuri Ayurveda Medical College and PG Centre, the first self-financed Ayurveda Medical College in Kerala, is nestled in Kattakada, a mere 18 km from the Thiruvananthapuram Bus Station and Railway station.
Inaugurated and presented to the public on 28th August 2002 by the then esteemed Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri. A.K. Antony, the college symbolizes a significant stride in our dedication to disseminate the core principles of Ayurveda, the age-old Indian healing system and holistic lifestyle, both nationally and globally.

Padmasree Dr. J. Hareendran Nair, a visionary, dreamt of and brought to life Pankajakasthuri. His relentless efforts, dedication, and commitment led to its remarkable transformation from a makeshift research and development center and clinic to one of India's most esteemed Ayurveda Medical College.
In a relatively short period, Pankajakasthuri has established a global presence and embarked on various projects in manufacturing, research and development, education, healthcare, and health tourism.
Years of continuous research have led to the discovery of a broad spectrum of drugs and treatment protocols for ailments such as Asthma, Liver & Kidney disorders, Diabetes, Coronary Artery diseases, Cancer, and many more.
One of the most significant milestones in the history of the Pankajakasthuri Group is the establishment of a fully operational Ayurveda Medical College. This institution, backed by a 150-bed hospital and guided by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine(NCISM), boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure and a highly professional and qualified teaching faculty.
The college offers a range of Ayurvedic education facilities, including BAMS, Ayurvedic Pharmacy, and Ayurveda Panchakarma courses. It upholds excellent standards in practical and clinical training, as well as research facilities at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
